The original main living room in
this dated ranch style home was compartmentalized from the rest
of the floor plan, resulting in a dark and uninviting space.
We removed the end wall thereby creating a more open feeling
and eliminating a long dark hallway. This allowed us to add
glass French doors to rooms in the guest wing (that are now
visible from the newly designed living room). A better balance
of natural light was created with the glass doors and recessed
art lighting.
