2003 Remmie Award 2nd Place Kitchen Remodel
The original kitchen was dark, uninviting, separated the cook from the guests, and devoid of style and character. We raised the ceiling to give the appearance of a larger room. Windows and skylights were added to take advantage of the front view and also to capture light in a situation where an existing large overhang significantly decreased natural light. Warm, rich woods were used in both the cherry cabinetry and oak flooring.
